Randy Hendricks
Randy Hendricks was born in Michigan in 1959. He grew up in the country, spending much of his time in the woods and fields surrounding his home. It was during these years that his love and appreciation for creation developed and grew. Today he continues to find the inspiration for much of his work in the great out-of-doors.
Randy began drawing as a young boy and excelled in all of his art classes during his high school years. Primarily self taught, he began painting seriously in 1982. His ability to draw allowed him to attain a draftsman's position right out of high school.
In the years that followed, Randy worked very hard to develop his painting skills while he supported his family as a draftsman and later as an engineer. He diligently studied the work of artists he admired, and by painting consistently, he was able to turn to painting as a full time profession in 1996.
Hard work and persistence have earned Randy awards at national art exhibitions as well as recognition in prominent art magazine editorials.
Randy continues to grow as an artist residing in Michigan and he works primarily in oils. His work is collected in both private and corporate collections.
