This is a larger version of a small study I did one beautiful morning out painting with friends. It was a great spot with many ideas to choose from but I really like these little tugs so I knew right away that I would be painting this direction.  Add to it the lovely oblique light catching the edges of the tug and warming the street beyond the shadows, and I had my composition.  It was a super morning!
