Maureen Walker

Maureen Walker is an award-winning contemporary artist and master silk painter whose work is regularly juried into high profile art exhibitions.

Art educated in England and Europe, Walker’s study of art history led her to explore the works of early 20th Century abstract painters, particularly Paul Klee, Wassily Kandinsky and Lionel Feininger.  She is influenced by Cubism, The Bauhaus and Vorticism.

After establishing her first Canadian studio in 1999 she became an Active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists
