About Morten Solberg
Morten E. Solberg is known around the world for his amazing work and signature style. He is an artist's artist. He is versatile in all mediums. He paints in oil, acrylic and watercolor and his techniques range from photo-realism to total abstraction. He has devoted over 50 years to pursuing his craft via design studios, commercial art and his own fine art painting.
Morten's interests are many and varied and they are often reflected in his art. American Indian history and culture hold a special allure for Morten, perhaps because his great grandmother was Native American. Norwegian whalers and explorers are among his ancestors. Wildlife, romatic women with parasols, flowers, fisherman, cowboys and nature have provided him with endless colors and shapes with which to compose.
