Book Launching: A Child's Prayer for Peace
We are honored to invite Sheena Lott and Jill Ann Siemens to our gallery for a book signing event for "A Child's Prayer for Peace". Jill Ann Siemens, founder of the Canadian Tenors composed the song Sempre Vicino: A Child's Pray for Peace, turning it into a book that will be launched and shown at our gallery. The book came from the song that she composed after the 9/11 terrorist attacks in New York City. Sheena Lott, who calls her style of work realistic impressionism, has illustrated 13 children's books over her 30 years of career in art. She will be showing 9 original watercolour illustrations from the book at the book signing event, along with 15 other originals. And yes, bring your children or grandchildren. It will be a fun event for them to be immersed in art that they can relate to. Jill Ann Siemens and Sheena Lott will both be present on Saturday, September 19th from 1pm - 4pm. The show of Sheena Lott's paintings will be up for 2 weeks until October 3rd.
