Welcome to Oil Painting with Catherine Moffat!
This Workshop Is Full. Catherine Moffat will be giving another oil painting workshop in the near future.
Dates: Sunday March 5, March 19, March 26, April 2 (4 Sessions Work Shop Starting Sunday March 5th)
Time: 1 - 4pm (Each Session is 3 hours with Coffee Break)
"In this four Sunday afternoon course, we will begin by staining our canvas boards in preparation for a still life image. Next, we will practise the fun of mixing colours, making a complete palette ready to use on our painting. There will be photo references for you, and I will be teaching and helping with each step of accurately drawing the image.
If you finish a painting quite quickly (something I almost never do) you might consider painting it again, after carefully assessing which parts could have been done better, and learning form this before you carry on. Whatever happens, you can always start again, no problem.
At the end of the four sessions, you will feel much more comfortable with your oil paints, and have at least one finished piece to take home and be proud of.
See you at the Peninsula Gallery!" ------ Catherine Moffat
