About Lynn (Lindsay) Branson

An Interpretive Sculptor of wood, Lynn Branson finds her inspiration in the line, form and shape in each piece of her chosen medium. Lynn's art portrays the natural world, a world she feels a deep commitment to. Living on Vancouver Island ,British Columbia Canada, the ocean, mountains, forest and Alpine areas are close at hand.The habitat for wildlife is beautiful, while also fragile and vunerable. Lynn is a member of Artist's for Conservation.

Lynn is the first and only female to hold a World Title at the Ward  World Carving Championshipsin the 50 years of the show. In 2010, 2012, 2013, 2017 Best of World Interpretive, also receiving Bronzes in World Interpretive and Silver in Masters. Lynn was the recipient in 2019  Living Legend Award from the Ward Museum Of Wildfowl Art, Salisbury University Maryland. Lynn also received a Third in People's Choice Award with her carving "Abstract Study" Man and Bird.
