Minkie Pumblechook who's sailed around the world twice, has returned home. She recently bought a little oceanfront cottage near the intersection of Dirt Road and Hoot and Howl Lane. Sallie, her wild pig, is great company, and provides much needed emotional support. Having almost capsized her boat while sailing, she still gets butterflies in her tummy when a big storm is approaching.
