Mark Hobson (Prints)

This stunning representation of the main building and forecourt of Shawnigan Lake School was painted by Mark to commemorate the centennial year. Mark completed his final years of schooling at Shawnigan, graduating in 1970. Once he finished his Bachelor degree at the University of Victoria he went back to teach sciences at Shawnigan and ran the school's outdoors program.

Mark has fond memories of his time there as a student and 9 years as a staff member, so he was delighted to donate this piece to the school. A special edition of 100 giclée prints have been created with a portion of all sales to be donated back to Shawnigan Lake School.
