Art Encounter: Kathryn Amisson Colourful Memories

It is the 44th year in Kathryn Amisson's journey as a professional artist, during which she never stopped challenging herself and transform.  As one of the original thirteen artists invited to the long-celebrated Painters @ Painter’s event in Campbell River, she painted alongside the likes of Ted Harrison, Alan Wylie and Robert Genn.  It has been a remarkable journey since she started her art career as a framer for artist Peter Shostak, to becoming a pet portraitist, mastering the medium of Pastel, to moving on to Acrylic allowing her to paint grand views, leading the way to her current colourful impressionistic style.
